Paul Bracher
President, Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc.
Paul Bracher is president of Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc. and serves as Chief Banking Officer at Frost Bank, where he oversees the bank’s region presidents and serves as a steward of all of Frost’s banking activities. Since joining the bank in 1981, Bracher has also worked in commercial lending, special assets and management at Frost Bank, Liberty Frost Bank and Parkdale Bank in Corpus Christi, which became branches of Frost. Prior to his association with Frost, Bracher was with the State of Texas’ Department of Banking.
Bracher has served as chairman of the South Texas Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, including chairing its Education Committee, and has been a member of the Tourism Council of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. He served as chairman of the Board of Directors of Mission Road Development Center. He was a member of the budget and personnel committees of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio and is a past member of Rotary Club of San Antonio.
A native of Uvalde, Texas, Bracher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1978 with a major in agricultural economics. He and his wife, Laurie, have two children, Clint and Whitney.
