Carol Severyn

Group Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer

Carol Severyn is the group executive vice president and chief risk officer for Frost, as well as a member of the company’s senior officer team. In her role, she oversees compliance, security, loan review, business continuity and risk management.

Carol began her career with Frost in June 1993 as an assistant vice president and audit supervisor. Prior to joining Frost, she was an auditor with a local public accounting firm, specializing in audits of financial institution clients, and held various positions within the financial services industry.

She earned a degree in business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a certified public accountant, certified risk professional, certified information systems auditor, and certified fiduciary and investment risk specialist.
