After-Login Checklist

Once the preview period begins, please complete the following tasks to ensure all data has successfully migrated to Business Connect.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Customize each workspace to your preference (with Widgets) and gain familiarity with workflows for payments, stop payments, positive pay, user creation and maintenance, creating alerts, etc.
    • NOTE: Alerts in Cash Manager will not be transferred to the new system.
  • After you confirm your active users, have them access the system, establish security questions and perform all the steps listed above above as applicable to their responsibilities and permissions in the system.
    • NOTE: Be sure to check user access since permissions are less complex than Cash Manager and keep in mind permissions granted to the user apply to all accounts assigned to the user.
HOME
  • Verify that all accounts are present in the Account Center.
  • Click on Checking Account and/or Loan Details and verify that transaction history is available for the accounts you had in Cash Manager. While viewing your transaction details create a filter (e.g. Post Date or Transaction Description) and familiarize yourself with the filtering capabilities of Business Connect.
PAYMENT CENTER & EMPLOYEE
  • In the Payment Center click Add a New Payment in the Payment List View. Review all of the payment options available in the Payment Method drop down list to ensure that you have the ability to create all the payments that you need to create.
  • Make sure you have downloaded any payment history for ACHs and Wires from Cash Manager.
    • NOTE: During the preview period, anything that is added/changed in Cash Manager will also need to be added/changed in Business Connect.
  • In Business Connect, to perform payments, the Payee Name must first be created in the Contact Center. There is no ability to create a one-time payment unless the person or business is listed in the Contact Center.
  • The Payment Center is used to create Payments (ACH/Wires), perform Collections and Tax Payments.
  • Contacts can be identified as Employees, and managed in the Employees menu option. Within Employees, you can Reimburse Expenses, complete Payroll and create Child Support Payments.
  • Payment Templates can be created from previously sent Payroll, Child Support, Tax Payments and Employee Reimbursements.
    • NOTE: Recurring templates or transfers are not available
  • In the Payments Tab under Payment Center or Employee, verify that ACH profiles are displayed in the Payment Templates tab and review for accuracy.
CONTACT CENTER
  • Add the Address to any applicable Payees in the Contact Center.
  • Review Payees and update any missing information.
  • Create new Payees.
  • Contacts can be identified as Employees and managed in the Employees menu option. Within Employees, you can Reimburse Expenses, complete Payroll and create Child Support Payments.
FRAUD/POSITIVE PAY
  • Download any check issue/void history from Cash Manager.
  • In the Alerts Center under Add a Widget, create Recipients, Recipient Groups and all necessary alerts including alerts for Positive Pay if applicable.
    • NOTE: Alerts will not migrate from Cash Manager.
WIDGETS
  • Legacy Reports: Verify that historical reports are available. Your Cash Manager bank reports are available here.
  • eStatements Search: Verify that your monthly DDA Statements are available.
  • Alerts Center: Create Recipients, Recipient Groups and all necessary alerts including alerts for Positive Pay if applicable.
    • NOTE: Alerts will not migrate from Cash Manager.
  • Download: Export various file types and gain familiarity with the information that is generated.

USER MAINTENANCE WIDGET
  • User Maintenance is located on your home page or can be added from the Add Widget menu. Verify that all users are setup and all user permissions are correct for each user profile.
    • NOTE: Users that were removed during migration due to inactivity can now be added.
  • Under Administration & Settings, click on Alerts Center. Create Recipients, Recipient Groups and all necessary alerts including alerts for Positive Pay if applicable.
    • NOTE: Alerts will not migrate from Cash Manager. During the preview period any changes you make to users, permissions, profiles/templates or accounts in Cash Manager will also need to be added/changed in Business Connect.
OTHER LINKS
  • Make sure that any links to partner portals link correctly after you go live in Business Connect.
     
    • NOTE: Other Links is located under Add Widgets and are only available after the preview period has concluded and the system is live.
